Apollonides are two brand new beach houses, in Lixouri, on the island of Kefalonia, that combine a magnificent uninterrupted view of the sea and the wonderful landscape of the east with all the luxury conveniences, making them the ideal accommodation for the visitor who seeks relaxation and luxury.

The newly-built beach houses are consisted of two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen a living room and a bathroom, arranged in two levels, so as to enjoy the sea view to the fullest from all parts of the house. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom fitted with a shower and a double bedroom, all leading to terrace, garden and the balcony, while 8 short steps lead to the lower level where the second bedroom is, overlooking the sea.
The second bedroom includes either two single beds or a king size double bed, depending on the needs of our guests. Guests also benefit of a flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and private parking availability. Towels and bed linen are included and all the rooms are independently air-conditioned.
About us
The western end of the plot is located directly by the sea while the rocky slopes, an integral part of the natural relief, delineate the boundaries of the land plot. The particular features of the landscape, the shape of the plot the altitude range and the view dictated the linear ground plan. Access is possible using a coastal road, on the narrow side of the plot. Particular emphasis was placed to integrate the building with its natural surroundings, so the architectural design of both the building and the landscape were created at the same time and were considered as equally important.
Pausanias, the ancient Greek historian, claims that there were two generations of Muses, the first being the three daughters of Uranus (god of the Sky) and Gaia (godess of the Earth), and, the second, the well-known nine daughters of Zeus (king of the gods) and Mnemosyne (godess of Memory). (Pausanias, Description of Greece, 9, 29, 1).
The most ancient religious traditions state that there were originally three Muses. In the ancient sanctuary of Mount Elikon in Boeotia, three Muses were worshiped, namely Melete (Meditation), Μneme (Memory) and Aoede (Song), that correspond to the three stages of poetic creation, and their worship and names are said to have been first introduced by Ephialtes and Otus. (Paus. 9.29.1, & c.)

Location
Apollonides beach houses are located on the quiet outskirts of the town of Lixouri in Platis Gialos, Agios Spyridonas area, just a few minutes drive away from Lixouri Port and the town’s main Square, where all places of interest (restaurants, caffes, markets, bars etc) can be easily reached via a tranquile sea-side walk.
To reach Apollonides from Lixouri port, take the coastal Rizospaston avenue, heading north with the sea to your right. At around 500 meters after the last houses of the town you will come across the Apollonides sign on your left hand side.
